The single modern daybed is also known as twin daybed. It measures 39 inches by 75 inches (99 x 190 cm). It sleeps one person. Some mattress retailers carry the “twin XL” which is 5 inches (12.5 cm) longer than the standard.
A double modern daybed, measures 54 inches wide (137 cm) and 75 inches (190 cm). The double daybed is also called double daybed. It is designed for two people to sleep, but is only 15 inches (38 cm) wider than a twin.
A queen daybed is 60 inches by 80 inches (152 x 203 cm). It is the most popular choice of mattress, according to the Better Sleep Council.
The king size daybed is 76 inches wide and 80 inches (193 x 203 cm). This is the highest standard mattress sold in the US and Canada.
Available in some stores is the “California King”, which is longer still, but a bit narrower than regular king mattress. It measures 72 inches by 84 inches (182 x 213 cm).
